How long can you withstand the darkness?

 In Familiar, two players explore a dark forest as the Light Siblings Theia and Selene. The two are connected by a tether of light which bonds them together. 

In this fast-paced hack-and-slash experience, two players will take on Forsaken Adventurers who ventured into the forest and succumbed to the darkness inside. Distorted from their original forms, they now haunt the forest, seeking innocent souls to devour in their all-encompassing hunger. 

Together, Theia and Selene struggle to withstand waves of enemies while keeping their tether connected; once it breaks, the darkness enveloping the forest will take them like the Forsaken before them. With fast-paced gameplay and an atmospheric environment, Familiar charges you with saving these innocent souls from a cruel fate.
